CSO

The Community Service Officer (CSO) Program was established in the Fall of 2005 with the opening of the University and it’s Police Department. The program is committed to promoting safety and security on campus through the use a wide array of services. Community Service Officers are student employees of the Police Department and are from different backgrounds with varying college majors. They are active members of the University Community and leaders among their peers.

Community Service Officers provide the Police Department with a vital link to the student population. They assist the department in providing services to the university community and enhance the level of services that the Police Department provides to the community. CSOs can be easily identified by the uniform that they wear and the Police Department ID card that they carry.
