The UC Merced Police Department is pleased to announce the launch of the 2024-25 Public Safety Excellence Awards program. We are excited to add new categories for recognition and open nominations and awards to the campus community.
The purpose of the Public Safety Excellence Awards program is to recognize the dedication, commitment, and exceptional contributions of individuals and organizations that significantly enhance safety in our community. Please visit the following pages for more information on categories, evaluation criteria and grading the review committee will use to assess nomination forms (we suggest you refer to these considerations when submitting nominations), and the link for submitting a nomination.
Nomination Submissions
- Nominations must be submitted online via our official website UCMPD | Excellence Awards Submission.
- For any questions or assistance with the online nomination form, please contact the Community Wellness Director at beatrizramirez2@ucmerced.edu.
- The Nomination Form should include detailed information about the nominee’s achievements and contributions.
- Nominations must be submitted by January 29, 2025.
