Rave Guardian is a mobile app for personal safety that is available to anyone with a "ucmerced.edu" email address. The app is free and using it is optional. Rave Guardian provides rapid and proactive communication with UC Merced Dispatch.
Rave Guardian allows you to do the following:
• Text with your organization in real time
• Send in anonymous tips
• Share location information with safety official during an emergency call
• Quick access to safety or important phone numbers
• If you allow Guardian, you can receive important notification based on your location.
