Planning an event at UC Merced?
UC Merced Police Department is committed to the safety of the university, including the safety of all those who live on, work on, and visit the campus or its properties. To this end, the department welcomes the opportunity to work with anyone who is organizing an event on the university or its properties to provide recommendations on event layout, equipment needs, process, and staffing.
Not all events will need staffing, but where staffing is needed, the department will work with event organizers to appropriately staff the event to ensure it is safe for the attendees and all others on campus.
